Here at CTP, we realize that communications is a very personal business, we all like to communicate in our own way. This also means that no one VoIP solution is the answer for everyone. Why then do most VoIP companies only provide one or two ways to use their service?
Things are different here. CTP is constantly sourcing the best VoIP customer premises equipment suppliers around the globe to find the best products available in every category and certify the equipment to meet our exacting standards for quality, reliability and ease of use.
Today VoIP products come in four categories:
The first category is the one most familiar to people who know little about VoIP. This technology simply adapts a VoIP network to work with phones and PBX systems that are expecting to be plugged into standard POTS (plain old telephone service) lines. For anyone who's ever chatted over the Internet the next category will also be familiar, VoIP technology can integrate with computers, web sites, USB handsets, headsets and other computer technology to allow your computer to join the communications revolution.
The next two categories are those that you don't hear VoIP companies talking about as much. IP phones are the next generation of telephone equipment. These phones look like regular telephones but connect directly to an Ethernet network instead of a POTS line. At home this would mean plugging your phone into the ADSL router or cable modem, in the office its even simpler. Already new buildings are being pre-wired with Category-5 Ethernet cable instead of phone lines because IP is the future and CTP is here with IP phones today.
And lastly, because CTP understands that people outside of the developed West still need to talk to each other CTP offers an analog solution that allows people to use VoIP without having any high-speed or broadband connectivity. This solution allows a user to replace their regular phone with a VoIP phone which has inside it a modem and dialer that allows the phone itself to connect to the Internet over dial-up to a legacy dial-up Internet provider and then bypass the POTS system for making phone calls. They get all the advantages of VoIP without any of the modern broadband infrastructure requirements.
As VoIP products continue to advance and improve, look to CTP to always offer the widest selection and the best products from around the world. CTP's mission is and has been from the beginning:
To make sure that every time a mother picks up a phone anywhere in the world that she can have a clear and uninterrupted conversation with her child down the street or across the globe.
